Pawfect Adoption is a fake pet adoption center that facilitates in finding owners for homeless cats and dogs. This website was created as part of a project in the Web Technologies program at Kirkwood.

The Problem
In the Web Technologies capstone class, we needed to complete an end of the program project that would demonstrate all of the web development, web design, and software development skills that we had accumulated through the program.

Our Solution
Build a pet adoption website hosted on Heroku, using both a theme purchased from ThemeForest along side our PHP, mySQL, HTML, and CSS skills. We purchased our domain from GoDaddy, and used PlanetScale to create and store our database.

The Result
The result was a pet adoption website that allowed users to sign up, fill out adoption applications, and donate to the organization. Admins were given special permissions to register pets, approve applicants, and set up events.
